Two drivers started the season off right doubling up in wins in the first two races. Darrin DeLoach and BJ Dauer both increased their points lead in the Modified and Hobby Stock classes. Jason Rogers also took the points lead with his win in the Stock Car class and Adrienne West picked up her first ever win in the Econo Class. The next races will be Sunday June 14th. See you at the races!
Darren Deloach #21 had to work for his win starting in the ninth position and getting past front runners #37 Jeff Tubbs and #737 Nick Tubbs who had starting positions at the front of the field. #6 Jason Schoenberger made it through the field quicker than DeLoach and had the lead for several laps before Deloach used the top groove to get past Schoenberger a couple laps from the end. Nick Tubbs finished 3rd and his brother Jeff was right behind him in 4th. 8X Adam Morris got a top five and #7s David Solberg came in 6th with #27 John Fose and #7c Nate Moore 7th and 8th. There were sixteen Modifieds on hand.
The Stock Car class put on another great show with #37 Jason Rogers having to run down #8 Ryan Wark. Wark worked past #11h Marshall Hoppe and #44 Wheat Lippelmann and started stretching out the lead until Rogers found a great line on the top side of the track and ran down Wark to get past him with a few laps left. Rogers kept the lead after a late race restart and Wark survived a challenge from #3 Travis Towns with Towns finishing 3rd. Hoppe ended up 4th and #49 Dan Lauer was 5th. Lippelmann came from the back on a restart to finish 6th and #68m Rod Magley came in 7th. Ten cars started the main.
#33 BJ Dauer continued his streak of great finishes with another win. #26 Travis Glassman made it hard on Dauer by getting out to a pretty large lead at the start of the race and challenging on a couple of restarts but had to settle for 2nd.#3B Brett Oelke had a better outing than his first race here and scored a 3rd place finish. #33 Richard Boon was a strong 4th and #96 Josh Latka was right behind him in 5th. #2c Mathew Crowell finished 6th and #16 Brett Glassman was 7th. There were fifteen cars in the Hobby Stock class.
Adrienne West #7 became a main event winner for the first time in her career with a win in the Econo class. #37 John Luckert tried several times to get around West but just couldn’t get the pass completed and came in 2nd. #27 Alex Crossland was 3rd with #81 Dale Smith in 4th. #07 Joe Austin was 5th and first time racer #37x Danny Carman finished in 6th. Twelve cars started the main.
