Branum and Wark win two in a row. Coen gets first win.

June 17, 2007 Colby , KS . –The track was in great shape once again for the racers even after warm temperatures and a gusty south wind tried to dry the track out. Local racers Travis Branum and Ryan Wark both repeated as winners and Brady Coen won for the first time this year in the modified main. The next races will be on July 8 th at 7:00 PM. We hope the farmers have a great harvest and See you at the races!

Modifieds

Brady Coen #3 started fifth and steadily moved to the front during the main event that had no cautions. Coen got past #10 Chris Remetes with a few laps to go to get the win. Remetes had a great run and finished second. Nick Tubbs #737 overtook Justen Beakley #86on the last lap for third and fourth place. Angel Munoz #2m and John Fabrizius #42 ran together the whole race and finished 5th and 6th. Darren Deloach #21 and Dwayne Dechant #2d had trouble getting through traffic and placed 7th and 8th. There were eleven modifieds on hand.

Stock Cars

The stock class put on another outstanding show as the top finishers battled from green flag to checkered flag. Travis Towns #3 and Jason Rogers #37 battled in the beginning laps until Towns had to pull in with a flat under a caution period. When racing resumed it was Ryan Wark #8 and Angel Munoz #95w trying to take the top spot from Rogers . Wark made it to the checkers first with Rogers and Munoz trailing closely. Lloyd Meeske #32 and Travis Scherfick #66 battled hard for 4th and 5th. Jimmy Jenkins finished 6th. Ten cars started the main.

Bombers

After a great start and an early race caution Travis Branum #3rt took the lead and never looked back in the bomber main event. #27 Adam Morris moved up quickly to second and retained that position for the finish. Raymond Dechant #00 was part of the early caution and made a great recovery to grab the 3rd spot. Matt Morris #21 and Jimmy Jenkins #97j finished 4th and 5th. Brian Morris #8 just got past Alan Kurth #38 for 6th and 7th. Thirteen cars started the main.

Econos

Chad Fields #10f made it hard on the rest of the field by getting a great start and running very smooth laps to outdistance the field. #4 Lee Hagman ran second and is in a tie with Fields for the track point standings. JR Wolfrum #11 was 3rd with Chad Normandin #01 coming in 4th. Andy Blackhart #1 made his first start of the year and finished 5th. Ten cars started the main.
